Established in the Year 2013, Suraj Degree College is a degree college in Mahendergarh. The institute is affiliated to and part of Gurugram district, Haryana. The institute offers several courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The campus has an area of 10 acres with an intake capacity of 813 students out of which 40 are faculties. Suraj Degree College runs 18 courses across 7 degrees, viz. Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Applications.

A set of facilities is available at the Institute which makes the life of the students easy. Within the campus premises, there are separate hostels for boys and girls, which assure a safe and caring environment for the residential students of the Institution. The well-stocked library is the intellectual hub of the institution, representing a diverse collection of books and journals with a collection of related digital resources. Well-equipped Physics and Chemistry laboratories cater to the practical learning requirement of Science students. The IT Infrastructure at the Institute is supported by three state-of-the-art computer laboratories with high-speed Internet connectivity hence putting the latest technology in front of the students.

Suraj Degree College, runs a total of 18 courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Undergraduate courses such as BA, B.Com, B.Sc Non-Medical, Medical, Physics Hons, Chemistry Hons, Mathematics Hons, Botany Hons, Zoology Hons, Computer Science, and BCA are offered in the college. MA in Geography, English, and Economics and M.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are postgraduate courses that are offered in the college.

Admission to Suraj Degree College is strictly according to merit and as per the guidelines prescribed by DGHE. Admission to Under Graduate Courses will be made on the basis of the merit list prepared by DGHE.
