Connected in the year 2013, Suraj Muchhala Polytechnic is located in Chordi, Gondal, Gujarat. The institution seeks to provide education at the diploma level to students in various streams of engineering. The campus center of Gondal provides an atmosphere quite conducive for students to learn and develop their skills. On the part of the faculty members, with at least one among them, the institute remains strict in providing quality education through the five available diploma courses.

The polytechnic has quite a number of facilities to supplement the learning curve of its students. One such facility is the library, which is a hub for books. It can accommodate 100 students at a time in the reading hall. The timings are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. There are 204 title holdings and 1,400 volumes, bringing much knowledge under one roof to the students. These courses also have well-maintained, department-based laboratories that would enable the students to get practical experience in respective fields. Not considering the worth of technology in present-day education, Suraj Muchhala Polytechnic, with good IT infrastructure, shall help students work on the latest tools and technologies pertinent to the curriculum being undertaken.

Suraj Muchhala Polytechnic offers a total of five full-time diploma courses. Each one is so designed as to enable the students to have a firm foundation in the chosen field of Engineering. All programs offered include a Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Automobile Engineering. The programs last three years and are conducted in full-time mode. The Institute admits 60 students in each course and 300 seats in all programs combined consistently.
