Surjeet Memorial College of Education, Ferozepur, Punjab, came into existence in 2006 and has emerged as one of the most influencing institutes engaged in training the teachers. This is a co-educational college affiliated with a university and its main aim is to prepare the future trainers. Located over the 5.04 acre campus, the college has been granted approval by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). At present, the college owns 94 students and 21 teachers which make the student-teacher ratio to be accurately proportioned for good learning.

Surjeet Memorial College of Education has put up several new facilities for education which seek to enrich the learners’ experience as they study. Surjeet Memorial College of Education is mainly teacher education, B.Ed programme. This is a two-year full course that aims at equipping students with knowledge to effectively teach and become good teachers. The college has staggering approved admission capacity of 200 for its B.Ed programme, which clearly depicts the colleges potential of cultivating multiple numbers of future teachers. 

The admission eligibility criteria at Surjeet Memorial College of Education include marks awarded in the qualifying or entrance examination respectively.
