Surya College of Education was established in 2015, situated in Sant Kabir Nagar, Uttar Pradesh, is an affiliated college. This co-educational institution is found on two point six forty six acres offering various educational options. It is accredited by the National Council for Teacher Education Nigeria (NCTE) thus conforms to standard in teacher education. The total intake of students is 174 students and the total faculty recruited by the Surya college of education is 16 teachers. The institute provides five different types of degrees, having its own specialisations in education and general courses respectively. 

Surya College of Education possesses a number of amenities intended to improve the student outcomes. At the centre of these conveniences is a library with an assortment of books, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals selected by the management. This resource centre is not only for academic purposes but also binds with students to help them to be regular readers. The college also has subject wise laboratory which help the students in the practical knowledge of concerned subject. As for the student who have interest in sports and physical education, facilities are available in the institute. Health and safety come first with a health centre which has first aid amenities. An auditorium within the college is used for occasions such as events and seminars improving the college’s energy. Further, there is adequate parking area for the faculty, the staff and the students with a view of creating more ease for everybody. 

In all, Surya College of Education comprises of five full courses that covers different areas of educational training. The academic offer of the institute has programmes related to education, and other degree programmes. Separately, for B.Ed and D.El.Ed courses, there are 100 seats only. The college at the moment has a population of one hundred and seventy four students in all its programmes, meaning that it offers a personal touch in its learning. 

The admission process of candidates at Surya College of Education with programmes of their own choice. Regarding the course B.Ed admissions are done according to merit that includes marks scored in the qualifying examination/s and/ or entrance test as allowed by the state government norms of the university.` The admission procedure of the D.El.Ed programme also principal on merit-based policy which is framed by the state government or UT administration. The B.P.Ed course also doesn’t have a limited variety of selection procedure and there is written test, fitness test, interview and qualifying examination marks are also checked.
