Surya Engineering College, established in 2008, is one of the affiliated colleges situated in Erode, Tamil Nadu. This AICTE recognised college offers various engineering and management courses in its vast 20 acre campus. Surya Engineering College has total student enrolment 455 and 71 faculty members which creates an appropriate academic setting. The college provides 14 courses in 4 degree programmes and focuses on engineering disciplines and management.

Full time courses in the different stream of engineering and management are offered by the institution. The college offers 6 BE programmes like BE Mechanical Engineering etc, 4 B.Tech programmes, 3 ME programmes, and one MBA programme . Also, the college presents a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. This means that the total approved student intake in all the offered courses is 455, and this goes to show that the college as a virtue of maintaining optimal class size for teaching and learning processes.
