Sushant Design School was founded in the year 2010 as a constituent college of Sushant University in Gurgaon, Haryana. The SSD campus, spread over 14 acres, offers variegated undergraduate and postgraduate design courses in a number of specializations. It has 4 degree programs in 22 courses and 3 course types at Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral levels. SSD has a faculty base of 13 members and concentrates on the ethos of creative talent development by nurturing innovation in the realm of design. 

SSD has all kinds of modern facilities that could help students grow properly, both academically and in their personal lives. It has well-equipped laboratories, a modern networked library working round the clock, high-speed internet access, and video conferencing facilities. For convenience, there are two different hostels for boys and girls with an intake capacity of approximately 300 students in triple-sharing accommodation. The college also provides transport with pick-up and drop facilities from major areas in Delhi-NCR, including Delhi, Gurgaon, and Faridabad. SSD also houses a number of recreational facilities to maintain the holistic learning environment, namely a cafeteria, snack bars, and a Coffee Day outlet.

It offers a wide spectrum of design courses, catering to diverse interests and career aspirations. Furthermore, SSD provides diploma courses in Fashion Technology, Interior Design, and Graphic Design among many others.
