At SIIT, the engineering programs are offered at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and it offers six B.Tech courses like Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Information Technology. Along with these, there are four M.Tech courses and five different courses at the Diploma level. The total approved intake would be to the extent of 732 seats, reflecting capacity of this institute in building a considerable number of engineering aspirants on a yearly basis.

The admission process at SIIT is framed to be all-inclusive and absolutely merit-based. Candidates looking for admission in B.Tech courses must possess a pass at 12th Class of 10+2 pattern of schooling along with UP Board or other Board recognized by it. The eligibility criteria prescribe Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, and any one of the following elective: Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Biology, Technical Vocational subject. While candidates belonging to the SC/ST need at least 45%, the General category requires at least 50% in the qualifying examination. The UPSEE score is considered at the time of admission for B.Pharma; that very institute recognizes the results of such standardized entrance tests.
