First of all, I am confused in 296. 296 is marks or rank.  You do not mention your category. So I am assuming that you belong to general category. If your rank is 24 then there is a  chance to get admission to the NMIMS . If your marks is 24 then there is no chance to get admission to the NMIMS.

The competition in business schools is getting tougher day by day and hence, you need to secure good percentage because the cutoff trend is always on the higher side in the institute. Generally, a score ranging from 230 - 240 is equivalent to 99 percentile in NMAT. Candidate scoring 90 to 95 percentile are eligible to take admission in the college.

Since you have 78.24 percentile in NMAT, it is difficult for you to make it to the college. I will recommend you to appear for the exam game and score good marks.

Both NMIMS Bangalore and Mumbai are good options but it's true that NMIMS Mumbai is better. It's really a tough choice between these two , however I would suggest you if you are getting a chance then don't let it go , take admission in NMIMS Bangalore because it will also be a very wise choice and the academic environment as well as placement records are very satisfactory in that campus also. So taking admission will be the right decision at this moment.

It is difficult to predict your seat into college as NMIMS does not release a standard cut-off. The cut-offs vary every year. Rest be assured you have decent percentile. You can however, wait for the rank list or cut-offs to be published.

Under the NM brand, NMIMS Bangalore and NMIMS Hyderabad are both relatively newer colleges. And have the NM brand, both of these colleges have done well in terms of placements. The placements at NMIMS Bangalore and Hyderabad are quite good; both campuses have already had 100% placements in the previous academic years. Both campuses are well-known B-schools because they are affiliated with NMIMS University in Mumbai.

Now looking at your rank i would firstly say that you have scored a very nice marks in your entrance exam and this completely shows your efforts and dedication towards that particular exam, hence surely it is a good rank. Now talking about it in the prospective of securing admission than i can say that you will find a challenge in some top NIMIS campus and also in some top branches like CSE, IT, etc as this branch requires a very high marks for getting admission due it’s craze among the current students and also it has great future scope, but definitely if you will be trying for admission than surely you can get a good seat with a good campus as well.
