SVLNS Government Degree College, Bheemunipatnam, was established in the year 1984, and this is a co-educational college located in Andhra Pradesh, India. This affiliated college is accredited by NAAC and offers various undergraduate courses. The college is spread over 10 acres and has a current total strength of 540 students, of which 60% are male and 40% female. The faculty strength of the college is 19 members, in which 10 courses are imparted under 6 degree programmes, which include 9 courses in arts, 6 courses in commerce, and 5 courses in sciences. 

SVLNS Government Degree College also makes sincere efforts to provide a good learning atmosphere with all necessary facilities for its students. The library has more than 6,000 books, including textbooks, and has 45 magazines and 21 journals that form a treasure house for information concerning academic pursuits. There are departmental laboratories for practical learning. To develop physical fitness, the campus has sports facilities and a gymnasium. SVLNS Government Degree College presents 10 full-time under graduate courses in total, which are of Arts, Commerce, and Science.  The sanctioned student intake capacity in the college is 337 across all the programmes, with the current student population being 540.

The college accepts applications for its varied undergraduate programmes, with each of the courses having a capacity of intake for 40 students, except for its B.Com Hons course, which offers 60 seats.
