SVS College of Education, Tumakuru, began in 2008 and is one of the leading teacher training colleges in Tumakuru district at Karnataka, India. SVS College of Education at present has only one full-time course for which it is accredited, the Bachelors in Education (BEd). This is a two-year programme and the college’s approved intake for this programme is 50 students. The college management has remained particular on the quality of education it offers and this can only be made possible through enrolment of only 50 students for each batch. The course structure and designationale of B.Ed. course is that, in order to produce qualified teachers, trained to meet the challenges of the modern educational systems, prepare oneself with required skill, knowledge and teaching-learning-teaching strategies.
