SVS Group of Institution, Warangal, was started in 2008 as a private institution located in Bheemaram, Hanamkonda, Telangana. This is a co-educational institute offering a full-fledged diploma courses, undergraduate, and post graduate courses in engineering, pharmacy and management, and is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad. Having an ‘A’ grade accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE, SVS Group of Institution is spread over an area of 10.41 acres. This institute offers a favourable environment for student absorption offering a student enrolment of 1,477 and a faculty of 328.

SVS Group of Institution boasts of fine built up facilities that have been put up with the aim of complementing learning. Students receive better learning through well equipped laboratories, a library with over 54818 volumes and 6840 titles and access to 168 national and international journals. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls, the boys’ hostel has the capacity to house 162 students while the girl’s hostel holds capacity of 112 students. Internet connectivity is facilitated by a 100 Mbps leased line throughout the campus so that all the IT requirement which is core to the modern learning is met. Additional infrastructures include sports facilities, an event and seminar venue in the form of an auditorium, health centre and college cafeteria. In order to facilitate the students the institute has transport facilities with 10+ buses to get to and from different parts of the city.

The SVS Group of Institution provides varied programmes and courses in different streams. It offers 20 courses across 6 degrees, affording B.Tech and M.Tech, MBA, B.Pharma and M.Pharma, diploma programmes too. The B.Tech programmes include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and International of Things. The institute also provides M.Tech specialisations in Computer Science Engineering and VLSI. For management students there is a full-fledged MBA course which situates an incredible number of 360 students. Pharmacy department provides B.Pharma and M.Pharma with the branches of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics and Pharmacology.

In terms of admission SVS Group of Institution has merit base and strictly follows the regulation of the state government. For engineering programmes, the major entry criteria is the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test known as TS EAMCET. MBA programme accepts scores of Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) and diploma courses take scores of Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET). The institute also accredits other national leve entrance exams such as the GATE tests which are conducted for admitting students to post graduate engineering programmes.
