SVS School of Architecture Coimbatore is accredited affiliated college situated in Tamil Nadu, the southern part of India, started in 2010. This co-educational institution recognized by the council of Architecture offers specialized courses in the faculty of Architecture. SVS School of Architecture is located in a spacious campus of 5 acres and the overall strength of students is 396 and teaching faculty is 18. The institute provides two degree programs: Bachelors in Architecture & Planning – Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) and Masters in Architecture & Planning – Master of Architecture (M.Arch). The college is dedicated to architectural studies and hence strives to turn out qualified and innovative personnel in the industry.

The Following are some of the amenities of the institute to ensure the student’s overall growth in their studies; The knowledge centre in the college contains 2600 volumes and titles in various streams and also has subscription to above 30 National e-journals & International e-journals. In addition, it contains e-books and e-journals for learning and research purposes for all students. 

Our college computer laboratory is fully air conditioned and crested with over 60 computers With modern architectural Software like AutoCAD, Revit and 3D Studio Max. To support the practical use of the material, the climatology lab is equipped with a complex weather station as well as other active instruments for the investigation of the environment. Electrical laboratory demonstrates various types of lighting and electrical products and provides realistic experience in electrical systems in buildings.

SVS School of Architecture offers two main courses: A 5–year full–time B. Architecture (B.Arch) and a 2–year full–time Master of Architecture (M.Arch). The B.Arch program tentative intake capacity is 40 and there is no mentioned intake capacity for the M.Arch program. These programs are formulated to convey understanding of architectural concepts, methods of architectural design, as well as put into practice in architectural work. The institute aims at providing only full time regular courses to Kataza University Students to provide intensive training and education in archifaucture.

SVS School of Architecture has laid down some criteria of national and state entrance exams for granting admission to its institution. Mess: The college provided different hostels for boys and girls, hostels having the capacity of one thousand boys and four hundred girls. These hostels are remain facilitates with modern specification like, entertaining halls, reading rooms and so on. 

The campus also has an auditorium with an 300 people sitting capacity that has been acoustically designed to include the student activities and events. A large dining hall provides meals, which aims at different preferences; the hall can feed 150 students at a time. For health and fitness there is a college health center with first aid facilities and a gym. 

All students have access to reasonable sports facilities to help them lead a balanced life. Some of the other facilities aren’t offered for sale and include a transportation service, with 16 buses plying between and around the different parts of Coimbatore and the neighboring areas, which makes it convenient for the day scholars to get to college.
