UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Hi Ankit,
I would suggest you to go for SKIT Jaipur as the Average and Highest package offer both are good at SKIT even the faculties are good at SKIT in GJU professors are good and well qualified but most of the time they were absent in class.
If you look for good campus the go for GJU as its campus is spread over 372 acres while SKIT campus is only of 13 acres.
Fee for GJU is approx 65000 annualy and for SKIT the fee is little high compare to GJU as the fee is around 90000 per year.
Hope this will help, please feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Thank You.
Hello,
There is No doubt that SKIT jaipur is best in all trades in comparison with maharaja agarsaini.CSE is the master trade here. Placement, faculty, fees and also the infrastructure are too good. So you must choose SKIT.
Hope for the best.
Thank you.
Hi Ankit
Package
: No difference at all. This year both colleges had the highest package of 4.5 lpa.
Placements
: Again they're almost equal. Though SKIT had marginally better placements this year due to 2 mass recruiters coming to their college for placements, compared to 1 mass recruiter in JECRC.
Studies : If you're in SKIT, you'll have to attend at least 60-75% of the classes in each subject, whereas in JECRC there are no strict rules regarding attendance. Hence students tend to bunk often which also leads to teacher's disinterest and as a result don't expect syllabus to be completed in each subject. On the other hand SKIT is very strict, strict to a point that becomes frustrating sometimes.
Now you can decide yourself which college you want to choose
Hope this helps !
Hello aspirant. As per the passed out students of SKIT and JECRC, Jaipur I can say JECRC is better, since they provide you with a lot more freedom to bunk classes and also on the dress code and their placements are also a bit better than that of skit. Skit is very strict I'm terms of discipline. Also JECRC has higher cut off than SKIT. Choose wisely.
Regards

Hi Rajat.
Congratulations on securing this rank.
Going by the cutoffs for different branches in MBM in the year 2018, you can get MBM later but you may not get your desired stream. The streams that you are eligible for are Civil,ECE, electronics and electrical, electronics and computer, mining and production. Having said that, I will also say that the cutoffs vary every year depending on the number of candidates, their rank, the number of seats available, etc.
You can visit https://static.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/Category%20wise%20cut%20off%20REAP-2018_wk6Cpxu.pdf to get information regarding the branchwise cutoffs of this as well as other different colleges in 2018.
Hope that helped.
All the best!
hello aspirant,
yes, you can get in skit with 4569 rank.As per as Computer Science branch is considered in SKIT you need above 100 marks or I believe above 90 marks in your JEE Mains and other than that you should have a nice percentage in 12th board.
As per the State Govt. Guidelines, the centralized online counseling for admission to B.Tech. I year is being conducted through Coordinator, REAP-2018 (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process) by CEG, JAIPUR under the following norms: 70% seats of total intake (Candidates from the state of Rajasthan) to be filled through JEE (Mains) 2018 rank based merit and through Class-12 Marks/percentile15% seats of total intake (Candidates from Outside Rajasthan) to be filled through JEE (Mains) 2018 rank based merit and through Class-12 Marks/percentile15% seats of total intake under Management seats (Candidates from the state of Rajasthan and Outside Rajasthan) to be filled at the Institute's LevelPLEASE NOTE:· All the candidates who have appeared in JEE (Mains) exam 2018 are eligible for online registration in REAP-2018, irrespective of their achieved rank.
all the best!
Hello Prem,
The placement rate of this college is extremely highy which is a good thing and every year the numbers are increasing at a high pace but the negative thing is that most of the prestigious companies let's say 80% of the companies are IT based companies which demand coding so if one is not having good command over coding so that person will have a problem there. In short the scope for CSE and IT students are higher as compared to the other brances (ECE, ME)
The faculty is quite good in context of teaching. The faculty is completely unbiased and is not at all lenient which is a good thing, but there are cases where this non leniency of teachers and not so supportive attitude proves to be a problem specifically for students who have a genuine issue. For instance the college is very strict with the attendance maintenance thing and they even debar the students from taking the exams if appropriate attendance is not maintained but there are situations when a student has a serious issue let's say the student has got a fracture and has been advised to take rest. So in such a situation instead of sparing the student's attendance the college rather debars him or her and doesn't allow him to take the exam. In short what they expect is no matter how critical your condition is you have to maintain the attendance.
The above given details are based on the review taken by the passed out ECE students of this college, overall it's a decent college.
Hope this helps,
Good luck!
The college provides various facilities like Wi-Fi, a computer lab, a digital marketing lab, a cafeteria, an auditorium, a reading hall, indoor and outdoor games, a medical room, smart classrooms, etc. The campus is excellent in terms of neatness and cleanliness. The food served in the cafeteria is also good at an affordable price.
The campus could benefit from more quiet study areas, as the existing ones tend to get crowded. Additionally, while the college is well-connected by public transport, the on-campus parking is limited. Despite these minor drawbacks, the infrastructure greatly contributes to a positive student experience.
This college has exceeded all my expectations when it comes to infrastructure. The campus is modern and sleek, with a focus on sustainability and eco-friendliness. The classrooms are equipped with the latest technology, including interactive whiteboards and virtual reality headsets. The library is a treasure trove of knowledge, with a vast collection of books, journals, and online resources. The sports facilities are world-class, with a state-of-the-art gym and a range of outdoor sports facilities.
