The College of Engineering and Technology, Udaipur, is nestled amidst lush greenery, providing a tranquil setting that’s perfect for focused learning. The buildings are well-kept and the overall cleanliness of the campus is commendable.
The B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering course offered by the college is comprehensive and up-to-date. The faculty members are experienced and dedicated, always ready to guide the students. However, the effectiveness of the academic program can be subjective.
The college has its own placement cell that invites many respected companies for campus recruitment. Companies like Reliance, TCL, Pinnacle CAD, Hindusthan Zinc, and Infosys are among the recruiters and management provide much support.
College has a large campus, alonh with all sports ground. But the infrastructure is old, that's why many cracks are visible on walls and roofs of buildings. The management is a great issue regarding the maintenance of the campus.
The teachers are really cooperative. Particularly for Agriculture Stream, this college has gotten many awards. As all the engineering colleges, students somehow mamage the exams and clear them. It doesn't mean that the papers are easy and students doesn't get backs.
There are lack of placements. Only few students get the placement. The companies are mostly the local one. The reason of lesser placement is not only the college, but the student itself too. Many students start preparing for other competitive exams in their final year, like GATE.
The average fee per semester for boy student in Agriculture Stream is 15k whereas for girls it is just half of it, 7.5k. As the agriculture stream has government affiliated seats that's why they have lesser fee compare to other branches. The exam fee has to be deposit separately before every semester exam......and we think that's a bit annoying thing.
The life is really good. Many professors, seniors of Ph.d and M.tech, are always ready to help. The cultural fests gave the joy in the busy life of a student.
All the basic amenities are present, labs are really nicely equipped with a lot of upto date equipments for learning , we also have a playground for someone who might be interested in sports and extra carricular . we do have libraries which are very well kept and maintanied you can found big time help in academics in those giant libraries.
Academics are good, some professors are reallty nice and experienced while some doesn't have that much experience but if you get a nice cohort of people around you you can do wonders fron our college, all the acamdemics subjects are very thought and the curriculum is also very thorouglhly built.
the students who prep for placements and are really serious for placement process have high chances of bagging a nice placements are really high especially for circuit branches students, for students with non circuit bbranches might face little bit difficulty.
It's is a government college so the fees is not a major problem and the return of investmenst is also good if you consider the package or the learning together. with the college life coming in this does get a bit tricky question but i would say our college is value for money.
campus life is above avg although it is very clean and spacacious with a big ground nearby college only, but the infrastructiure can be a big better and alsi some extracarricular activities can be improved and could be useful for overall development of fees.

Without doubt, it's all worth the money. The course costs around 15000 rupees per annum and a little extra amount if you have taken subjects which have practical exams. Money is not really charged too high for agriculture engineering.

The classrooms are well furnished and for the first year students, the lecture theaters are very modern and well equipped with projectors too. Labs are technology well equipped with every other equipment necessary for a different kind of lab.
The quality of teaching is really good, The professors and the faculty are highly experienced faculty and you need to exploit them for your own benefit. They try to cover as much as possible during classroom studies and periods. The method of teaching is a white board or teaching using projectors and everything.
It depends on the internship you choose if they give you stipend or not.C CTAE college campus placements in Mining and Agriculture branch is really very satisfactory. Different companies visit campus for placements in these branches like Vedanta group or Mahindra group. Also in computer oriented branches like electronics, it, computer science and electrical decent placements from TCS, Accenture, Wipro etc may be assured.
The area outside of college cam[pus is totally students area and pg is available so easily costing a little nearly 20 percentage higher. The food in college is satisfactory and the canteen is also good offering all the basic elements of a canteen.

Hello Nisha,
With a
JEE Mains score of 79.83 percentile
and
92% in 12th boards
, it may be challenging to secure a
CSE seat at CTAE Udaipur
(College of Technology and Engineering) under general category as the cutoff for CSE is typically higher.
However, if you belong to a reserved category (like OBC, SC, ST), you may still have a chance based on category-wise cutoffs.
What You Can Do:
Getting CSE at CTAE Udaipur with 79.83 percentile might be tough for the general category but possible for reserved categories. Keep an eye on REAP counseling and cutoffs.

Hello Aspirant,
As per your JEE mains percentile and considering you as a general category candidate I would like to say that it is very difficult to clear the cut offs as the previous year cut off was around 90+ percentile.
Other categories has a lower cut off but even obc category has 73 percentile cut off previous year. There are other factors such as number of candidates appearing in the counselling, previous year cutoffs and number of seats available in the college.
Hello,
As far as your JEE Mains percentile is concerned and college that you want to opt let me tell you that there is no relation between the two because if you are planning to go through management quota in this college. Then you jee score or your 10th and 12th score is of no use.
You need to go to the college campus and you need to talk to their higher officials what amount they will charge in order to get to you admitted there. They will charge a good amount of money because in this quota every college charges atleast double the amount what you will spent in course of four years of you are admitted normally.
