Swami Premanand Mahavidyalaya, the multipurpose education institution for both boys and girls, was opened in 1971 at Mukerian, district: Hoshiarpur, Punjab, India. This affiliated college approved by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) provides Undergraduate and postgraduate degree and diploma courses in a wide spectrum of fields. Spread across an area of 6 acres of land, it has a total strength of 1440 students in total which has equal number of female students i.e.948 and male students i.e 494 only. A strong and committed faculty of 32 members sustains the institution – the student teacher ratio promotes focused attention and receives needed quality education.
