Swami Sarvanand Institute of Engineering and Technology (SSIET), was established in academic year 2009-2010 and is a leading institute in the Dinanagar, Punjab. This college affiliated to the University is approved by AICTE and this college is committed to provide technical education in different branches of engineering. The institutes are spread across a large campus of 10.6 acres that provides the best atmosphere for learning. As for right now, the student capacity in the institute is 410 while the faculty of the institute has 4 members only. SSIET provides twelve courses in three degree types, B.Tech, M.Tech, and Diploma level in Mechanical Engineering Computer Science and Engineering Civil Engineering and Electrical Engineering.

The B.Tech programmes offered are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and communication and Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with 60 seats in each branch excluding Electronics and communication Engineering branch which has 15 seats. The M.Tech programmes are in Computer Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering respectively offering 18 seats each. The Diploma programmes include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering courses where intakes differ.
