One of the most prestigious constituent colleges is Swami Vivekanand College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology and Research Station, situated in Krishak Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, which came into being in 1996. This is a co-educational institution that specialises in agricultural engineering with a varied range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs. Under these, there are two undergraduate programmes: B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and B.Tech in Food Technology; two postgraduate programs: M.Tech in Agricultural Engineering and MBA; and three doctoral programmes: Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, Ph.D. in Agriculture, and Ph.D. in Horticulture. It offers different levels of courses to provide adequate scope to the students to specialise in their areas of interest within the broader field of agricultural sciences and engineering.
