Swami Vivekanand College of Education is a collaborated, affiliated college, formed in 2006, at Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. The institute has an affiliation from New Delhi's National Council for Teacher Education and offers courses in the form of specialized teaching. The campus extends over 17 acres and contains 574 students along with 21 members of the faculty. Two major courses offered in the institute include B.Ed and D.El.Ed, both full-time courses.

Merit-Based Admission Process : Admission procedure at Swami Vivekanand College of Education is merit-based. Admission in B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Courses shall be made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the Entrance Examination. However, any other selection procedure could be followed by the state government, U. T. Administration, and the University according to the policy.
