It is one of the professional institutions situated in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh, theSvcPs focus on training of future education professional. This affiliated college was set up in 2004 and started forming minds for nearly two decades. The campus is quartered in the 0.09 acre area of Awadhpuri Colony-Sehore, which helps students be more concentrated on their studying. Though it is a small college, what the college lacks in size the college makes up in a mission to deliver quality education and this is evident since the college was approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

The college tries to provide different facilities to make the studying process interesting for the students. They include the acquisition of a good library that is very vital for research and reading storm, and effective I.T facilities in order to be in tune with the current trends and developmental changes in ICT. If a break is needed there is a cafeteria available for the students and workers within the compound. 

The college also has an auditorium which I believe was used for Seminars, Cultural Drills as well as important meetings. To ensure every learner is connected in this world, Wireless facilities have been provided in the institution. Also existing at the college is the Alumni Association, which can create opportunities for employment upon the graduating class, entrance to which is the current students.

Swami Vivekanand College of Professional Studies focuses on teacher education, offering two primary courses: Bachelors; B.ed and Masters; M.ed. In its capacity of forming the basic building block of a teaching career, the B.Ed program has a capacity of 100 students. The M. Ed program offers 35 seats for those who wish to further their education qualifications. This kind of specialization makes it possible for the college to allocate its resources towards the development of quality teachers. We have 11 faculty members and hence we have a small student faculty ratio you can easily approach the faculty and consult with them.
