Swami Vivekanand Law College, Hapur (SVLC), has been named as one of the most respected institutions for law education established in the year 2005. It is located at Indraprastha Knowledge Park, Jarothi, Garh Road, Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, whereas the college operates under the affiliations of the Bar Council of India (BCI). Spread over a compact 0.62-acre campus, SVLC offers two law programmes with a total student enrolment of 512. The college boasts a faculty strength of 11 dedicated educators, which ensure personalised attention to students.

SVLC provides a comprehensive suite of facilities that are aimed at making learning more enjoyable for the next generation of legal professionals. To polish advocacy skills, the students are provided with an opportunity to test their prowess in mock courts or mooting proceedings conducted inside the Moot Court Hall of the college. The library houses in excess of 6,000 books, law reports, periodicals, and journals, both Indian and foreign materials. IT Infrastructure The spacious computer lab has accommodation for 30 desktops and laptops in high-speed LAN with a 10 MBPS Internet Leased Line. For recreation, the campus offers indoor games like table tennis, chess, and carrom, and outdoor sports facilities. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, and students can get internet access on their personal devices. A health center with first aid facilities is also available on campus. 

SVLC offers two comprehensive law courses: the 3-year LLB and the 5-year integrated BA LLB programme. Both are full-time courses that seek to equip students with a profound background in legal studies. The LLB programme has a sanctioned intake of 200 seats, and the BA LLB Integrated course offers 60 seats. Such programmes are offered to equip students with the theoretical and practical knowledge that will be needed to be successful in a legal career. 

The total number of students with the college is on par with the admitted intake of 512; therefore, it is indeed a very popular college for law aspirants. While it is based on personal interviews for the LLB and the BA LLB Integrated programme, the admissions at Swami Vivekanand Law College are designed to gauge aptitude, communicate skills, and interest in the field of legal studies. This practical training aspect at SVLC is reflected through its Training and Placement Cell, where diligent efforts are channelled into providing employment and practice assignments to students in their desired areas.
