Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya, Jhansi was established in the year 2006. It is an affiliated college located in Nagra Premnagar, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. This institution has the approval of the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). This institution caters to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses. With a compact campus of 1.5 acres, the present strength of the college is 1,339 students with 57 dedicated educators. It conducts 11 courses in 5 degree programs.

The undergraduate courses include the Bachelor of Arts (BA) offered in groups such as Mathematics and Biology, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed). In the above courses, the college provides facilities for advanced studies with Master of Arts (MA) programmes in Education, Economics, History, Hindi, and English.

The prime criteria for admission to Swami Vivekanand Mahavidyalaya is based on the online merit system of Bundelkhand University, Jhansi. This is the scenario with almost all undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses, which includes BA, B.Sc, B.Com and MA. Admission to the B.Ed programme is also undertaken with the examination and counselling that is conducted by the concerned university.
