Swami Vivekanand Post Graduate College of Education, Hamirpur, was established in the year 2000 in Tarkwari, Bhoranj, Himachal Pradesh. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) programme is the primary focus of the college which is an undergraduate teacher training programme with an intake capacity of 200 students. Continuing with postgraduate studies, the Master of Education (M.Ed) programme enrols 50 students, to provide specialised knowledge and research in Education. secondly, there is Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course to nurture a person to teach high school level for which there are 50 seats available. These programmes combined with the college total student enrolment of 253 support the college’s important role of producing teachers for the future.
