48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science and Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and offered by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad.
Eligibility Criteria
To seek admission into the first year of a four-year B.Tech course in any branch, a student must have passed the Intermediate Examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Telangana with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Government of Telangana as its equivalent.
All the eligible candidates for admission into First Year B.Tech shall have to qualify in the TSEAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of Telangana. The candidates will be admitted by the TSEAMCET Convener strictly in accordance with the rank secured at the Entrance Examination and keeping the rules applicable in view, regarding the reservation of seats of various categories of candidates.
Admission Details
JEE(Mains) – The remaining seats shall be filled on a merit basis with candidates including those from other states and Union territories who were given All Indian rank at JEE(Mains) and secured not less than 45% of marks in the prescribed group subjects in the qualifying examination.
TSEAMCET – The seats remaining unfilled from the above shall be filled with eligible candidates, who have qualified for the TSEAMCET examination on a merit basis following eligibility criteria laid in rule (4) of G.O’s.74 & 75, Dated 28.07.2011.
Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on a merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) of marks in the prescribed group subjects taken together/aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations, as prescribed.
