Swaraj Institute of Management, Karad, was a Private Educational Institution established in the year 2013. It is located in Karad, Satara, Maharashtra. The institute got its approval from AICTE and is affiliated with Shivaji University, Kolhapur. SIMS Karad has an MBA course with specialisations like Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, and Financial Management. The institute is situated on a compact campus of 0.48209 acres with a total enrolment of students at 75, along with a faculty strength of 7 members. 

Swaraj Institute of Management has all kinds of facilities for the support of students in their academic and other developmental activities. The library at SIMS Karad works as the most prominent knowledge centre, where students have an extended stock of books, journals, and digital resources for all kinds of academic and research needs. Swaraj Institute of Management, Karad now offers one full-time postgraduate programme: the Master of Business Administration (MBA). This two-year programme has a sanctioned intake of 60 students. The MBA course is designed to provide the students with a strong base in management principles and practices. It prepares the students for leadership roles across various business sectors.

The admission procedure in SIMS, Karad, is merit-based and centralised. This occurs through DTE, Government of Maharashtra. Students can seek admission based on scores in any national level tests like CMAT or MAH MBA CET.
