Swatantra Girls Degree College, Lucknow, was established in the year 2002 as an affiliated college for women's education. The institution is situated at Sneh Nagar, near Singar Nagar Metro Station, Alambagh, spread on a campus of 2 acres. Approval to this college has been obtained from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and further emphasises high-quality education. The college has a total enrolment of 481 students with a faculty strength of 35, and it offers undergraduate degree programmes in four disciplines. Swatantra Girls Degree College works towards providing an enabling learning environment to young women for successful careers and personal growth.
