TDMC Alappuzha is a medical college, founded in 1963 in Vandanam, Alappuzha, Kerala State of India.T.D. Medical College, Alappuzha (TDMC Alappuzha) is the largest of all and government-affiliated; it occupies a total of 145 acres of land and has a lot of medical programmes. TDMC Alappuzha is one of the premier medical institutes in the country, recognised by NMC, INC, PCI, AICTE & affiliates to KUHS, Trichur. There are 29 courses offered to students in 6 degree programmes, and the college faculty includes 254 members of the teaching staff.
TDMC Alappuzha feels privileged to provide the best facilities for the better teaching and learning process of the students. Accommodation facilities includes separate hostels for boys and girls to provide accommodation facilities to out-station students. The college has medical facilities that are also used as a hospital and acting as place of training for students. The central library occupies approximately 7218 sq. ft. and is located on the ground floor of the main administrative block and consists of following sections: general reference section, journals section, reading rooms, air conditioning Internet section, reprographic facilities book bank, etc.
Members in various games and sports activities can utilise the college’s sporting amenities, while the Information technology facilities for the college embrace contemporary practice in knowledge acquisition. This institute provides almost all courses required for the medical profession and has various specialisations. The main undergraduate degree programme, called MBBS, recruits 175 students per academic year; however, the postgraduate programmes such as MD and MS courses take a comparatively smaller number of students, with 1 to 16 seats being available in specific fields. The college also provides options for super specialties like M.Ch. in Urology & Neurosurgery. The DM programmes offered are in cardiology, neurology, and neurology.
The admissions to TDMC Alappuzha are rigorous and are done according to performance in an entrance test conducted at the national level. In respect of the subjects concerning the MBBS programme, selection is made through the National Eligibility and Entrance Test under the name NEET-UG. Admission to MD, MS, and diploma course is regulated by NEET-PG, meant for postgraduate medical students. Degree-wise Admission Process
MBBS: The college offers 175 seats under the MBBS program. Admission is based on the score attained by a candidate in the NEET-UG. It is compulsory for candidates to clear their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology so as to be eligible for the program and should have common qualifications of NEET-UG.
MD/MS: There are many options in MD and MS programs offered by TDMC Alappuzha along with their respective intake capacities:

You need to have qualifying marks in NEET and you can go for counselling into various colleges of your choice. The management quota fees ranges anywhere from 15-40 lakhs per year depending upon the institute , reservation and marks you get in NEET.
