Tadipatri Engineering College, started in the year 2010, is an affiliated college located in Veerapuram Village, Tadipatri, Anantapur district of Andhra Pradesh. The college occupies a 10-acre campus that hosts courses from All India Council of Technical Education-approved nods in various engineering branches. The institution enrols 1,419 students strong with 120 faculty, hence assuring a good ratio and environment for technical education.

The infrastructure of the college takes pride in the facility available to the students for overall development in academics and personal development. Separate hostel facilities provide an acceptable living atmosphere for boys and girls coming from outstation students. The infrastructures include well-equipped libraries, modern laboratories, and huge auditoriums for academic as well as cultural activities. College sports and gymnasium facilities allow the students a place to practice. The IT infrastructure in the college also supports digital learning, while the health center ensures basic medical care. In the interest of the pupils, TEC also supplies transport facilities and houses a cafeteria. The college has a functional alumni association that helps in networking the present students along with the graduates of the college.

TEC offers 14 courses across 3 degrees: B.Tech, M.Tech, and Diploma. Specialized courses are provided in different functional areas of engineering. The spread of Engineering programs at TEC is broad-based to cater to the diverse interests of the students. The College offers 6 B.Tech programs, 4 M.Tech programs, and 4 Diploma courses. Besides, there is a B.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering with specializations in Data Science. 

Tadipatri Engineering College strictly follows the rules of admissions that are based on merit and entrance examination. The share of the seat intake for B. Tech courses is 70% from the performance at Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test, while the rest are in the management / NRI quota. The institution accepts scores of the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Common Entrance Test for the purpose of admission to second year classes of B. Tech study programs under lateral entry scheme. The scheme is designed to allow entry up to 20% of the intake directly in the second year of the B.Tech program from diploma holders. Similar is the scenario for M.Tech admissions and also for the Diploma programs in High Schools based on a merit-following procedure.
