Tagore Institute of Art and Education, Birbhum, was established in the year 2011. It is an affiliated college in West Bengal, India. This Bolpur-based institute imparts training for future teachers. The campus stretches over 6.12 acres, with a current student strength of 300 and a faculty strength of 34. This institution, already approved by the NCTE, runs two special education courses. Tagore Institute of Art and Education works with the objective of producing capable and dedicated teachers in the classroom of tomorrow.

The admission procedure to Tagore Institute of Art and Education is merit-based, whereby marks at the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination are considered. The institute follows the state government, UT administration, or affiliated university admission policies. In the case of a B.Ed. program, candidates shall be selected on the basis of their qualifying examination or any other process as laid down. Similarly, in the case of the D.El.Ed. course, selection of students will be merit-based in the qualifying examination or as per the state's admission policy.
