For example, while BA Bodo Major and BA Assamese Major have an approved intake of 100 seats each, BA Education Major, BA English Major, and BA Political Science Major have 90 seats each.

B.Sc: This college offers B.Sc in six subjects: Chemistry, Zoology, Physics, Mathematics, Botany, and Statistics. Admission into these courses is based on merit. The greatest number of seats is available in the B.Sc chemistry major, which admits a maximum of 85 students, while 75 students can be admitted for a B.Sc zoology major. B.Com (Hons): Tangla College also offers B.Com (Hons) programmes with three specializations: Management, Finance, and Accountancy. Each of these specializations has an approved intake of 50 seats. BCA: Tangla College also provides a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) with 50 seats. Merit base is followed for admission into this program on the grounds of the candidate's performance in the 10+2 examinations and, in particular, those relevant subjects.
