Tangla College, Udalguri, was established in the year 1970 as a co-educational affiliated college at Chamuapara, Tangla, Udalguri BTAD, Assam. The sprawling 33.38-acre campus comprises a range of 20 varied courses against 7 degree programmes with a total student enrolment of 3,256 and faculty strength of 49, wherein an appropriate environment for higher education has been provided to Tangla College.
