Tathagat Gautam Buddh Government Polytechnic, Shravasti: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Tathagat Gautam Buddh Government Polytechnic, Shravasti, was established in the year 2009. It is an affiliated college located in the state of Uttar Pradesh in India. The college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education and offers various diploma programs in subjects related to engineering. Located on a 5-acre campus, this polytechnic has a student enrollment of 464 and a faculty strength of 3. The institute has three full-time diploma courses, with each one focusing on a different field of engineering. Three full-time courses designed to cater to the different educational requirements of aspiring technicians and engineers in the region are conducted at the polytechnic. 

The polytechnic offers all facilities for academic and personal growth of students. The library has more than 43,700 books. The halls for book storage and reading are distinct. The students may take loan up to a month through their valid college identity cards. Boys are offered hostel accommodation. There is a 60-bed facility. The services of mess and warden office are also available. At present, a girls' hostel is under construction. For practical learning, college has provided departmental laboratories equipped with modern tools and equipment. The sports facility is available for the students' physical well-being and also has an excellent IT infrastructure supporting digital learning and skill development. 

The three full-time diploma courses are offered by Tathagat Gautam Buddh Government Polytechnic for a period of three years. Some of the courses offered include Diploma in Computer Science and Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Electronics Engineering. All of these have an approved intake of 60 students. These courses are designed to instill both theoretical and practical knowledge in the students to achieve a good career in this fast-changing technology sector. 

The Tathagat Gautam Buddh Government Polytechnic follows the admission procedure through an entrance examination conducted by the Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow. Admission forms are available from all the polytechnics from the middle of December every year. The entrance examination usually takes place on the last Sunday of April and the admission result comes out in the last week of May. The process of admissions is completed by the end of June.
