Affiliated college Tawi Engineering College (TEC), situated in Shahpur Kandi, Pathankot, Punjab was set up in 2012. The institute is AICTE approved and provides different engineering courses. The TEC is set in an 11 acre premises, and has an additional of 531 students, whereas faculty and staff number 11 at most. There are five degree courses offered in B.Tech available in a rich mix of engineering disciplines in the college. Focusing on the technical education, TEC is an institution that will help students to face difficulties and new tasks in the engineering field.

Tawi Engineering College has provisions for sports and games which include an Olympic size running track, football ground, a cricket ground and basketball, tennis court etc. The college also has different hostel facilities for boys and girls which include spacious, furnished and fully equipped rooms with bathroom facilities for any extra – territorial students.

Tawi Engineering College enrols a total of 5 full time B. Tech. degree programmes all of which are four year course. These programmes are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The total approved intake capacity for these courses are 300 consisting of different specialisation offered by the institute. Although the number of students who graduated in the latest year is lacking, the total enrolment of the college is in line with its intake capacity of 531 students, hence a stable student population.

Admission process of Tawi Engineering College is quite simple for students who wants to be engineers.
