Tech no India Teachers Training Institute, Tapshikhata got established in the year 2015 and since then became the premier teacher training institute in the district of Alipurduar, West Bengal. It is a co-educational institute with a vast campus covering 2.83 acres to present an appropriate atmosphere to the future teachers. The institute is duly recognised by NCTE and offers two specialised courses with a total enrolment of 262 students. The student-teacher ratio is favorable since we have a strength of 12 teachers, which includes experiences that can maintain a balance between personal attention and quality education to the students.
It has a number of facilities that would work toward making the learning process of students aspiring to be teachers very comfortable. The knowledge hub is represented by a well-stocked library that exposes students to a vast array of educational resources. Modernly furnished classrooms and laboratories permit both theory classes and practical training. This contributes towards the holistic development of the student. It is a regular annual sports meet that always forms a high point in the institutional calendar and helps foster the spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie amongst its students. The institute also ensures that it is technologically advanced with excellent IT infrastructure and campus-wide Wi-Fi connectivity, so that the students are really prepared for the digital age of education.
The Techno India Teachers Training Institute offers two full-time courses. B.Ed and D.El.Ed. This comprises an B.Ed. programme with a sanctioned intake of 100 seats, a two-year course designed to prepare students for Secondary and Higher Secondary teaching; and the D.El.Ed. programme with 50 seats, also of two years' duration, with the aim of training teachers for Primary and Upper Primary levels. Both the courses are oriented towards pedagogical theories and practices with practical teaching experiences.

Admission to Techno India Teachers Training Institute happens based on marks in the qualifying examination and Entrance examination. In the case of a B.Ed course, admission continues without any hassle pursuant to the State Government/UT Administration and the affiliated University.
