Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women at Asifabad came into existence in the year of 2017, the institution for women separately situated at Asifabad, Telangana. As a government college, this college is located in a 1.5 acres area and provides various undergraduate courses for 429 students. With an obligation of 25 faculty members, the college has been able to adopt a small student to teacher ratio. The institution offers seven distinct subjects within three courses, arts, commerce, and science. Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College has invested in various facilities which seek to complement the learning process of the learners. The IT resource involves a well-equipped computer laboratory with standard computer and software; all classrooms are fitted with projectors to enhance teaching and learning activities. Five initially equipped functional laboratories address general science subjects: Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, and Microbiology laboratories. The library of the college is very rich and has a collection of more than 5,500 books printed and bound which can be categorised under text books, reference books, novels, competitive exam related books etc. To support the comprehensive student development the institution has provided for sports and gym. A school with a sickness post acclaims the health of the students as well as those with slight injuries. The girls’ hostel was provided on the campus with all the basic facilities in order to allow students to live comfortably with no security concern.
Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Degree College for Women provides seven full time courses in total. Such programmes are B.A in History, Economics and Political Science, B.Com with Computer Applications, B.Sc with combinations like Botany, Zoology and Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science, Mathematics Physics and Chemistry and Microbiology, Zoology and. The college has direct intake of 429 students per course, which provide 40 seats each for each and every course. All these programmes are to suit the different area of interest of the students in their academic field and or careers.

However, clear information of the admission process that the college follows is missing, nevertheless, the college might adhere with the admission process followed in all government colleges in Telangana region.
