Located at Bommenahalli Village, Old Madras Road, this Affiliated College is in the business of molding technical genius for more than two decades. The institute provides diploma programmes in the various fields of engineering in order to cater for the needs students have towards their future careers. 100% B.educus trainees are admitted to TES Polytechnic and it is having 10 faculties on strength make it personalised learning and teaching institution. To this end, the institute provides its consumers with six diploma courses to enable mastery of technical education skills and knowledge.

The University of TES Polytechnic has a well developed infrastructure found convenient in the delivery of knowledge to the students. The institute possesses a good library with comprehensive collection of books, scientific journals, and research publications and electronic databases for students studies. In practical teaching the college boasts of fully equipped laboratories that are frequently expanded in response to the development in technology. The computer laboratory which the students use each day in their classes is fitted with appropriate hardware and software to enable students to be right on the digital world. In order to ensure holistic development of the students the institute facilities sports related to indoor and outdoor games such as chess carom, table tennis, cricket ground for indoor games and badminton.

TES Polytechnic currently provides a total of six full-time diploma courses, all of which are three-year programmes- Diploma in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering etc.  These courses can be taken in different branches of engineering in order to give students a vast range of fields of their interest and professions. The intakes have been approved in such a way that the Total approved intake for the institute is 360 split in the following manner; This makes it possible to have an ideal student population per faculty, and this simplifies student and faculty interactions, hence student success.

To this end, TES Polytechnic follows clear criteria when admitting students to to institution that is fair and transparent. Seats are filled through two primary channels: the counseling process all done by the Directorate of Technical Education(DTE), Karnataka and management quota seat. The management quota at 33% of the total number of sanctioned strength, is directly to be filled by the institute on merit as per criteria set by the board. A direct admissions process for students guarantees that deserving students have chances to be offered the opportunity at least twice. The DTE counseling is another chance that admission seeking students can undertake, but for those who did not attend the counseling, there is the management quota that they can take and join the institute.
