The Self-Finance programme in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) shall intake students for 200 and the Master of Education (M.Ed) Self-Finance programme will intake only 25 students. Each of the programmes is aimed at producing highly qualified and competent professionals to meet the need of teaching profession.

The admission at Thakur PG College of Education is on the basis of merit cum entrance test results. For the B.Ed programme the management has given its first preference to candidates who have passed the entrance test conducted by Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed Self-Finance: The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) course of Thakur PG College of Education is approved with an intake of 200 seats. Admission to this course is according to the merit of the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance exam. The policy adopted for the selection process is according to the policy of the state government, UT administration, and the university. The B.Ed course fee is Rs 98,000 in total.
M.Ed Self-Finance: 25 seats are available for the Master of Education (M.Ed) programme. The admission process for M.Ed is the same as B.Ed, with due consideration to the merit of the qualifying examination, performance in the entrance examination, or any other selection process in accordance with the policy of the state government, university, or UT administration. The cost of the entire M.Ed program is Rs 90,000.
