Thanapandiyan Polytechnic College is affiliated college, which was started in the year 1985 in Madurai, Tamil Nadu. This institution recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and provides a number of diploma courses in engineering fields. Located in a campus area of 12.65 acres the college has strength of 220 students and faculty of 32 teachers. Thanapandiyan Polytechnic College: It has six full time diploma courses in engineering, for which the duration is three academic years. Some of these courses are Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering and Computer Engineering. The total approved intake capacity for all the courses is 180 seats per year, and the maximum number of seats are sanctioned to Mechanical Engineering i.e 60.
