Thapar Polytechnic College, set up in year 1956, is located in Patiala in Punjab, India. This affiliated college lies on a large area of 6.9 acres and the college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Thapar Polytechnic College takes a total student intake of 895 and a faculty of 8; it has 5 diploma programmes in several fields of engineering. Thapar Polytechnic College offers a total of 5 full time diploma courses having a span of 3 academic sessions. These programmes apply to different branches of engineering that allows students to get a good grounding in their chosen disciplines.
