The Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences (TSLAS), situated in Patiala and a constituent Institute of the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, provides unique interdisciplinary educational programs that aim at nurturing critical thinking and creativity. B.Sc Liberal Arts and Sciences (Hons): This course offers a beautiful blend of science with liberal arts education. An approved intake of 60 students for this course could also follow the same criteria based on 10+2 scores purported to be good in science subjects for admission.

BA Liberal Arts and Sciences (Hons): This program, too, has an approved intake of 60 students. The admission process may consider the 10+2 scores from any stream while looking at other criteria to assess the candidate's inclination toward liberal arts.
