Tharananellur Arts and Science College, Irinjalakuda, was established in 2013 as an affiliated college in Thrissur, Kerala. Located on a 5 acre land, the institution has a wide offer 13 courses in seven degree programmes. Over 960 students are admitted into the college while the college boasts of a total of 53 members of faculty. 

Tharananellur Arts and Science College has all the necessary facilities that can provide additional value to educational process of the students. An adequately endowed library is thought of as a source of information to support academic activities. Technology is well embraced by the institution in part due to its; great IT facilities, which enables the students to use appropriate technologies in their learning. The departmental laboratories provide practical sessions of relevant subjects where science students find it more useful. Tharananellur Arts and Science College has 13 courses in its system, all of which are full time courses. The course offerings range from Bachelor’s degree level as well as Master’s degree level. The undergraduate programmes include B.Sc Microbiology, Biochemistry and Food Technology, B.Com Computer Application, Finance & Cooperation, BBA, BCA and BA Multimedia & English Language and Literature. At postgraduate level, the college offer Masters in Commerce, Master of Science Food Technology and Master of Science Microbiology. The total student’s intake capacity is 960.
