The Business School, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, was started in 1991 as a premier institution having sole aim to provide business education in the valley of Kashmir. It is one of the affiliated colleges of the University of Kashmir and consists of variety of specialised management programmes. The school has been approved by AICTE and the college is co-educational and the college aims at providing quality education to all its students. The institution boasts of a highly qualified faculty of 13 members which effectively provides four courses, two of which are MBA designed for the diverse needs of the business leaders.
The Business School students form part of a diverse community that receives access to up-to-date facilities that can improve its studies. It has a well-endowed library to which students have direct access to so many academic information and research findings. A well-developed Information Technology support system of the college enables students to get acquainted with recent advancement in the IT companies. In addition, in order to provide practical experience, there are departmental laboratories for students using the actual cases to solve problems according to the theory that has been studied. It also includes an auditorium for various occasions in relation to the general and professional discussions, seminars and meetings.
The Business School has a total of four full time programmes, all at the postgraduate level. This includes MBA with 60 intakes, MBA Integrated -61, MBA Financial Management-40 and Master of Tourism and Travel Management (MTTM) programme. Diversity of such programmes can be attributed to the fact that the institution aims to meet various needs that face business and management education. Degree wise Admission Process
MBA: Business School, University of Kashmir has a capacity of 60 for their MBA course. Admissions to the course would probably be carried out on the basis of a mix of academic performance in the bachelor's degree, entrance test scores, and potentially interview process.
MBA Integrated: The integrated program has 61 seats and is appropriate for candidates who prefer an integrated and comprehensive management education experience. Admission can include academic record and performance in some entrance tests being considered.
MBA Financial Management: The MBA specialization in financial management has 40 seats. Students with a finance or related streams background can be at an advantage during admission.

Infrastructure is good classrooms are air conditioned and they have smart boards also, washrooms are hygienic campus is having wifi, canteens are unhygienic, classrooms are cleaned everyday. Library is having literature in abundance
Yes, in our college we have all the necessary facilities such as, smart boards, white boards, wifi. In our classrooms we have Ac, smart board, wifi,projectors etc. In libraries we have separate study rooms and hostel facilities are good.
My experience about my college is that there is all the necessary infrastructure present for students, facilities in classrooms are also good with fans and AC. And surrounding of our college are good as well as food are hygienic also with better quality
