The Cochin College, Cochin is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University whence it offers several undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Sc Programs: The Cochin College offers B.Sc degrees in Physics, Chemistry, Botany Plant Biotechnology, Zoology, and Mathematics (Self-Financed). Admission to these programs is based on the marks obtained in the qualifying 10+2 examination, with a focus on the relevant science subjects.
B.A Programs: B.A in English Language & Literature and Economics is based on the marks obtained from the 10+2 examination with emphasis on English and relevant humanities subjects taken.
B.com Programs: Students can pursue B.Com in Banking and Finance besides the regular B.Com courses in the fields of Finance and Taxation, Marketing, and Computer Applications (self-financed). Admission to the programs is based on 10+2 examination marks, particularly from commerce and mathematics subjects.
BBA and BCA: Both these self-financed programs have a different admission procedure that may probably consider the 10+2 scores and also an aptitude test or interview.
M.Sc Programs: The college offers M.Sc. in Physics, Zoology, Chemistry and Mathematics (Self-Financed). Admission may require Bachelor's degree in the relevant subject. Entrance examinations may apply.
M.Com and M.A Programs: Admission for M.Com in Finance and Taxation and M.A in English would also require applicants to have their bachelor's degree in the same or relevant fields. Admission would consider graduation marks and possibly an entrance test.
In our college the academics was very good . because highly educated and knowledgeable teachers are there in our college . our very good in academics . and also the quality of teaching is very good in our college .
Teaching method in that college was good. HOD and all the faculty were good. They were support in most of the problems. Each of them were very experienced one's. Sometimes missing one of the class will leads to some non understanding of notes.
