Established in 2014, The Design Village is a private fashion and design institute located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The Design Village, is known as TDV in short. TDV Noida is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is a member of Cumulus, the only global association for art and design education and research. It is affiliated to Shri Venkateshwara University (SVU), Gajraula, UP. The institute offers undergraduate, postgraduate and integrate degree programmes in different fields of design. TDV Noida courses include B.Des, M.Des Integrated, M.Des and M.Des Executive programmes. The Design Village Noida eligibility criteria vary depending on the course and specialisation chosen by the candidates. However, the minimum requirement is to have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board. Admission to TDV Noida is based on the performance of candidates in the TDV Design Entrance Test (DET), which is conducted both online and offline. The DET consists of a written test, a situation test, and a personal interview. TDV Noida placement cell provides various training and guidance programmes for the students to prepare them for the industry. The Design Village placement activities include workshops, seminars, guest lectures, live projects, internships, portfolio reviews, mock interviews, etc. TDV Noida facilities include spacious studios, labs, workshops, libraries, auditoriums, cafeterias, hostels, sports facilities, etc.

The Design Village, Noida offers scholarships to eligible and meritorious students. The institute provides scholarships to students based on four different categories i.e. TDV Entrance Exam, Siblings, Defence, Single Parent and Founder’s Scholarship. The Founder’s Scholarship is need based and varies from case to case. Both B.Des and M.Des students are eligible to apply for these scholarships. Current TDV scholarships will be awarded on the annual tuition fees for 1st year only. Students need to have a minimum attendance of 85% (75% for medical cases), to be eligible for The Design Village scholarships. Scholarship for continuing years is merit based and will be awarded to the top 20% students of the class based on the grades.
No TDV scholarships are given for the international semester.
Only one concession can be availed at a time per student.

The personal interview evaluates the candidates’ personality, communication skills, portfolio, and motivation for design.
The final selection is based on the cumulative performance of the candidates in all the three stages of DET.
TDV offers Master of Design (M.Des) programmes in four specialisations, namely Graphic Design, Product Design, Space and Interior Design and Fashion and Textile Design with 32 seats in total i.e. 8 for each specialisation. Check the table below for the eligibility criteria
