About infrastructure, I don't have great opinion. They don't have auditorium, playground, canteen etc . Another higher secondary school is next to the college and we are actually using their Auditorium and ground. Classrooms and just okay and kept clean. Laboratories ( physics and chemistry) are small and 14 to 18 students can be accompanied at a time.. No hostel facilities or sports Centres are there. Library is small and have limited number of books. No WiFi also phone is not allowed.
I am doing graduation in physics. About quality of teaching, it's above average. Most of the teachers there are freshers and few are those who retired from nearby government colleges. Irfana ma'am is superb. And I think most of the teachers will flee after acquiring enough experience. But the do their maximum. Out wise principal is fabulous. He is the backbone of elegant college and he is also great in teaching. And I knew that he is resigning because he got a better offer.
Actually very few students from there have joined prestigious institutions for further studies. Others, actually I don't know what they do. Some have left the college and started business nd other jobs
11250 is the fee for one semester now(physics and chemistry). It's pretty good and one good thing about the college is they'll give enough time for students who are unable to pay their fees. Is you are not allotted to the college by university and you are planning to joining privately you'll be charged by development fee and registration fee(around 30000).
To be honestly, BAD. This three years was like hell to me. Actually covid 19 pandemic was a blessing. You can't bunk classes or go go neighboring places with friends. If yoh do so , you'll be warned.you should come on time or else you'll be asked to clean the ground. They'll change teaching schedule according to their will , opinion of their students are not considered. Even if you are provided with one hour lunch break, one should finish their lunch by 30 minutes and get in to class. Continue..
Boys and girls should not sit together and hold their hands outside. The above rule was based on it. Festivals like onam, eid, holi, Christmas are not celebrated. What they say is we don't celebrate religious festivals. I honestly don't know how onam and Christmas become religious festival. Even birthday cake cutting is not allowed there. What the celebrate is nov 1st. There also girls are not allowed to wear denims. Only typical kerala wear. A lot to say but no space. I actually don't like it.
Hi student ,
You haven't mentioned your college or region to know the fee structure if you want to know average range of fees for BSc . Chemistry then I will provide you . But before that you must know every college have their own criteria and fee structure which is based on category, quotas ,genders , scholarship and many more . So the average fee for BSc . Chemistry range from 15,000-50,000 INR now it depends on college if you choose government college for BSc chemistry then the fees will be low.
