Erode college of pharmacy and research institute (ECP) was started in the year 1992, Erode college is one of the leading pharmacy college in the state of Tamil Nadu. PCI approved this affiliated college, located on four acres of land that provides a wide spectrum of pharmaceutical programmes. Currently, the ECP has a total of 508 students and 54 members of the faculty, which make a perfect environment for those who want to study pharmacy. This institute has enrolled 12 courses in 5 different degree levels and focuses on different pharmaceutical fields. We also have different gender distribution ratio in our students, with 64% male students and 36% female students, which contribute to a gender-sensitive learning environment.
Evelina Children’s Pool has a number of up-to-date amenities to enhance student’s learning and overall development. Some of the amenities include well-equipped laboratories, library stocking a wide range of books as well as journals relevant to the college of pharmacy, and internet-accessible computer laboratories. This institute of aspiring and professional pharmacists is capable of delivering a broad range of pharmaceutical courses in this list of 12 courses: These include undergraduate programmes leading to B.Pharma and D.Pharma, a postgraduate programme M.Pharma with Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry, and a doctoral programme in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The Pharm.D and Pharm.D Post-baccalaureate programmes are also offered at the college, where it serves as the flagship. The course of B.Pharma consists of 100 seats, while D.Pharma course is offered in 60 seats only. The Pharm.D programme holds 30 students per batch who were taught and trained for the entire degree programme. All the programmes are on a full-time basis and equip students with sound knowledge and practical experiences on matters relating to pharmacy.

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The B.Pharma program was introduced at ECP with an intake of 100 students. Admission is merit-based on performance in entrance tests and marks scored in the 12th standard. Duration of the program is four years.
D.Pharma: ECP offers 60 seats in the D.Pharma program. Admission to D.Pharma programs is similar to that of B.Pharma regarding entrance test scores and academic performance.
M.Pharma: The college offers M.Pharma programs in six specializations: Pharmacy Practice, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. The admissions procedure will be the same as that used for the M.Pharma courses and based on academic performance at the undergraduate level; entrance tests or interviews may accompany this.
Pharm.D: The flagship course of ECP is its Pharm.D program. The number of students is 30 in each batch, and intake has a separate admission procedure probably considering academic performance and possibly an entrance test or interview.
Ph.D: ECP offers Ph.D. programs in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The admission will be based on past academic performance along with entrance tests or personal interviews.
