College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.
Fa culty and quality of education:
All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.
Placements:
Placements are good as good companies visit this college. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.

Hi Himanshu,
You have mentioned your rank to be arpund 6k.
The National Institute of Engineering is an engineering institute located in Mysore Karnataka. The institute was established in the year 1946 by Sri S.Ramaswamy. Various courses offered by the institute include BE, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA and PhD. The institute is accredited by NBA and NAAC. NIE is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and has been approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
As of 2019, the closing rank was 12k for B.E. in Information Science and Engineering.
AS of 2018 and 2017, closing rank was around 8k and 5k.
So even if closing rank goes up higher this year, I think you should be able to clear it.

Overall gud college if u are really looking for gud placements nd value for money But placements in civil engineering branch is comparatively less than other branches and labs are well equipped Nd try to maintain a decent cgpa
Yes the college has all the needed facilities, everything is hygienic and all the facilities provided are well maintained. Not a single thing to complain. It gives a very beautiful ambience to study, with positive vibes.
My college has all necessary facilities and teachers are always helpful to you. We have labs, library, WiFi,and 4 badminton courts that I love to play the most of all. Hostel is also well maintained and everything is all good here except the area of college about which you won't get ever to complain since you are here for your career not something else.
