hi,
see national institute of engineering mysore and SIT tumkur both of the college is excellent interms of placement, internship opportunity, student and faculty ratio, extra curricular activities etc. however there is not very much comparison between the two college and both of the college is quite good. if you study saying at home your hostel fees would be save. however if your family is financially capable to bear your expenses then you may definitely go for NIE mysore and explore the new city.
hope you may understand.
hi,
see you have to make concern about certain criteria before select a college for bachelors course admission, like placement, faculty students, ratio, college infrastructure, students review etc. however keeping in mind all the facts I have rearrange the college as follows,
Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering
BMS Institute of Technology and Management
PES institute of technology
B.M.S. College of Engineering, Bengaluru
National Institute of Engineering
bangalore institute of technology
Siddaganga Institute Of Technology, Tumakuru
Hello Suraj,
The above colleges of engineering are well known colleges of engineering.
The above colleges in order are as following
1. NIE MYSORE.
2. SIT TUMKUR.
The above order of the engineering colleges are as per their rating and recommendations.
Hope this may help you.
All the best!!
Hello
The best college for CSE course among these two would be MVIT as the cutoff for MVIT is less compared to NIE and SIT which suggests that there would be better students in that college and thus you would get a better environment to study. Also, the placement record of MVIT is a little better than NIE as it is located in Bengaluru city and thus more companies visit there for placements.
ALL THE BEST
Hello aspirant,
If u want to study in Bangalore then you should go for BMSCE as it has good placements and exposure and also you can have access to other facilities as well . And if u want to go outise Bangalore I would suggest you to go to NIE as it has very good placements for CS and IS , this is for your long term benifit as placements are very much necessary.
The final choice is yours as all the colleges are very good!
Good luck!
Hi Aspirant,
As per your rank and as per previous year cutoff, you will get The National Institute of Engineering in B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering.
The last cutoff rank for The National Institute of Engineering in B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering goes till 21000. So, you will easily get seat into this college.

Hey Himanshu
I am assuming you are talking about KCET and are from general category with a domicile of Karntaka. If my assumptions are corrent then with your rank you can get a seat in NIE Institute of technology in CSE,ECE,EEE,Information Science and Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. You can also get other pretty good colleges like Dr Ambedkar etc. You can check the full list at https://www.careers360.com/kcet-college-predictor
In 2019, in Mock Counselling cut off for KCET, a rank of 7104 secured a seat in Electrical branch in National Institute of Engineering. That was the cut off for 3A Category. Now this is 2019 data and that too of Mock Counselling. Cut offs change every year. Cut offs depend on various factors such as total no .of seats available, difficulty of the exam, previous year cut offs, no.of Candidates appearing for the exam and no.of Candidates applying for a course. But with a rank of 36815, a seat in Electrical Branch at NIE is difficult. You have very less chances to get a seat in NIE college that too in CSE Department. Usually seats in the CSE Department will get filled first in all good and top colleges.
The cut off for CSE Department in NIE for general is around 2.5k. Even for SC/ST category, it will end at nearly 20k. You might get a seat if you have some greater reservation quota's like Hyderabad-Karnataka quota, rural quota, Kannada medium quota and such other quotas.
But you can give a try, as you might get a seat if they keep 2nd round extended. This last round will be kept in the end, sometimes even after the college starts it's sessions. They keep this round because there will be some seats left empty in the end.
Overall gud college if u are really looking for gud placements nd value for money But placements in civil engineering branch is comparatively less than other branches and labs are well equipped Nd try to maintain a decent cgpa
Yes the college has all the needed facilities, everything is hygienic and all the facilities provided are well maintained. Not a single thing to complain. It gives a very beautiful ambience to study, with positive vibes.
My college has all necessary facilities and teachers are always helpful to you. We have labs, library, WiFi,and 4 badminton courts that I love to play the most of all. Hostel is also well maintained and everything is all good here except the area of college about which you won't get ever to complain since you are here for your career not something else.
