The Pharmaceutical College at Barpali was set up in 1986 and is an affiliated college in Samaleswari Vihar, Tingipali, Barpali, Odisha. This recognised college encompassing an area of 6 acres of land focused is recognised by AICTE, New Delhi, and PCI, New Delhi. The college currently provides 5 courses in three degrees focusing on pharmaceutical education. Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharma, Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharma, and Master of Pharmacy or M.Pharma majors in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology. The total approved intake for the courses is 206, and B.Pharma has the maximum intake of 100 students. To illustrate, the institute operates with the vision devoted to delivering academic education and training within the subject of pharmacy to ensure that learners develop into efficient and productive members of the pharma business and the scientific research community.

The basic mode of admission in The Pharmaceutical College, Barpali, is based on scores that students obtain in the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE). The candidates seeking to join the B.pharma programme can apply through OJEE, JEE (main), or NEET. Like most other postgraduate programmes, M.Pharma is offered based on scores achieved in GATE, PGAT, or GPAT.
It has admissions for in-state residents and out-of-state residents, and the institution allows a minimal number of out-of-state students. admission process in the pharmaceutical college , barpali for the course B.pharma is done as per the JEE guidelines conducted by JEE - odhisha , seats are alloted on the basis of merit and date of request and submission of application , the final results of tests, admission list, and acceptance by the candidates and closing of admission is in accordance with testing agency (OJEE).
