Thomas Jones Synod College, Jowai (TJSC) is an affiliated college that was set up in the year 1997 in Jowai, Meghalaya. The college is situated in the West Jaintia Hills District and accommodates an area of 12.5 acres. TJSC is NAAC accredited, and the university offers various types of undergraduate programmes. Total enrolment for the college is 1221 and faculty strength is thirty-eight, so the college provides quality education with a student-faculty ratio of sixteen to one. The institute provides 13 courses for three degree offers that come under arts, commerce, and science areas.
