Tiruppur Kumaran College for Women, established in the year 1996, is an affiliated college situated in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. This women’s only institution is located on 5.3 acres and provides a wide spectrum of programmes in the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. TKCFW has enroled about 2,527 students and employs 70 faculty members to offer 38 courses and ten degree programmes. The college has only females and out of them, 88% are at undergraduate and 12% at postgraduate level. The quality education commitment of TKCFW is shown  in its course offers which ranges from English Literature, Computer Science, Commerce, and Management.

TTKCFW  provides different amenities for the improvement of the overall status of the students. Modern well stocked library with more than 12000 books,53 journals, e-resources etc makes adequate and sufficient study material available. The campus therefore encompasses advanced laboratories such as settings for Microbiology and Bio-Chemistry. Teachers said that for the technology-based information and learning, the school has modern computer facility consisting of Dell Core i3 computers with a connection of 20 MBPS Broadband internet connection. The college has also well equipped hostels for out station students where students can live following all health and hygiene standard safely. Other facilities like a hall for hosting programmes, a cafeteria, indoor and outdoor play area and training and placements cell to help the students in getting placements.

TKCFW has a broad-developed list of study disciplines providing an opportunity to satisfy any student’s desires and objectives. The institute offers 38 programmes at different levels of learning, in the normal academic years, postgraduate, and doctorate. Of these, there are 21 full time, and eleven part time mostly at the research level. The courses are BA English Literature, B.Sc in Computer Science, Microbiology, Psychology, M.Com, M.Phil Commerce, and so on.
